Loveland MAFCA convention visit

We are 10 Kiwis travelling in a group to Loveland from Auckland New Zealand. I imagine there are many more Kiwis and Aussies going too.
This is just a note to say we will be there and hope to meet up with other Barners at some stage. Has a meeting been arranged at all like at Puyallup?
We land in Denver night time on June 15th, want to visit Berts on 16th and hope to meet Steve Becker for a tour if possible as one of the highlights of this visit -Berts has been on my personal bucket list for many years!. I have emailed Steve separately.
Looking forward to re-meeting all the good friends we made on previous visits.
GETTING EXCITED. sorry for shouting.

I haven't seen a meeting spot mentioned. I can put a sign up or notice in my space at the swapmeet if we have something planned.

We will be chasing a kiwi to Loveland from just west of Chicago. Phred is running a quick change rear end procured from your island. He has highlighted the little bird cast into the cover -- but if you can see it, you are too close.
Hope to meet you foreigners in Colorado in ten days!

I had the pleasure of being Mosgeil in January for the Wings and Wheels at the airport there. We're glad your coming. Have a safe trip. It's only a couple of hours on the plane ;>)

Yes we do have several very good vintage air displays in NZ. Many old planes have been reconstructed here. Russian Polykarpovs of many types, Mosquito twin Merlin fighter- bombers and many many others.
We are often invited to display our Model A's at these shows in return for free admission.
Warbirds over Wanaka is a spectacular one, because the dogfights result in the downed planes trailing black smoke and dissapearing into a ravine over the Clutha river which cannot be seen from the viewing sites. First-time viewers cover their eyes in horror because the "crashes" are so realistic, with explosions and flames from pyrotechnic devices on the edge of the ravine accompanying the crashes.
Our group are all from Auckland in the North Island. We were at the Omaka airshow, but missed the Mosgiel one, though our cars were nearby in Wanaka about 165 miles north.
Be sure to contact us when next in NZ. There is nothing better than a special Model A run to host visitors!
