Crankshaft Tool
 

Does anyone know where I can get one of the tools to turn crankshaft when engine is sitting vertical when aligning flywheel housing?? Anyone have one for sale??

A good start but would need to be modified for dial indicator to be centered. Could cut out the center nut and weld a couple of half inch 90 degree pipe fittings on the outer edges for extension handles. Thanks, may give this a try.

You could try one of these bad boys... a little more expensive. https://www.snydersantiqueauto.com/P...earchByKeyword or make your own out of an old starter.

Or use a 1⅜"wrench on the ratchet nut on the other end of the crank.

Awkward to use with pulley end of engine pointing down. Prefer to use a tool designed for the job, much easier.
