Has anyone ever delt with Sacramento Vintage Ford for ordering parts?
Do they have quality parts? Who is your best quality vendor?
thank you

Berts and Brattons. I have bought a wiring harness from Sacramento Vintage and was very impressed with it.

I also bought wiring harness for my 1928 and early 29 with fluted headlamps and drum taillight. SVF is the only parts house that makes and sells the correct harness for the drum taillight.

I buy from A&L, Bert's, Bratton's, and Snyder's. All good parts stores.

SVF is great on their wiring & harness builds. Other parts are ok, just not a lot of depth. If it's in stock, get it. Don't bother with back orders. Snyders and Mike's are good.

I have a customer who ordered a 32 water pump 3 weeks ago and was told it would be delivered in 2 weeks because it was back ordered. I called after 2 weeks and was told there was no definite ship date and that it could be 2 days, 2 weeks, or 2 years before they got them in and shipped. We cancelled and re-ordered from Mac's. Not the best choice but, the only choice I could find.

On top of the wait there might be a problem when it arrives. See http://www.earlyfordv8.org/forum/vie...20water%20pump Based on what I read I would strongly recommend considering a rebuilt.

James, We have rebuilt leakless B pumps in stock. NOT new Chinese casting- original Ford casting.
