Gas tank-To seal or not to seal, that is the question?

I have been working on my 29 AA for a little while now, as time and mostly money permits. I have taken the gas tank out and was wondering if I should seal the inside of the tank or not? I don't remember it leaking before I drained it, except for the sediment bowl was all. So I was curious should I seal the tank or leave good enough alone. Here are some pics of the inside of the tank. Also the dark spot aren't holes, just dirt and other crap in the tank.

Your tank is, probably, cleaner than most !
Alcohol, in the new Ethonal Gas has a reputation for disolving the tank coatings. I would just leave it like it is.

While Mike could very well be 100% correct I can show you pictures of tanks that were clean on the bottom yet rusty on the roof of the tank. The roof is the area that is exposed most often whereas the floor of the tank was usually submerged in fuel which kept rust at bay. Can you show us some pix of the roof and behind the both baffle areas?? Then we will have a better idea on what to tell you.
