Another odd heater 4 Attachment(s)
My brother came down from Vermont for Thanksgiving, and brought this odd heater to show me. It goes between the engine and manifolds, and there are openings in the top of the exhaust ports to let the exhaust go up into the heat exchanger. It is all aluminum, and is made in two major halves, with a two piece aluminum cover bolted on.
Has anybody ever seen one like it, and if so, who made it? |
Re: Another odd heater It looks as if a few things would end up misaligned: the exhaust pipe and GAV rod for sure. The gas line and throttle linkage maybe not too bad.

Re: Another odd heater It does seem odd that it would be made to throw off the choke rod alignment too far to be used. I wonder if there was a special manifold to go along with it?

Re: Another odd heater I have trouble sealing the exhaust manifold let alone with this thing sandwiched in......

Re: Another odd heater I have one of those I bought off EPAY a few years ago. Was just too weird to pass up! Mine doesn't look like it was ever used. Don't know if I will ever use it or not.

Re: Another odd heater 2manycars, you have a PM.
That Gladiator also works well in the summer. You disconnet the manifold section and run straight air into the passanger compartment. |
