35 Universal Joint Grease Cup Hole I need info about the inner grease cup. The grease fitting for the universal joint
is located around 5 o"clock on the passenger side. The inner cup I would like to use has 2 holes in it. One of them is located very close to the fitting location and the other is at about 11 o"clock. Is the cup I have correct for my 35 application or do I need to find a cup that only has the one hole located near the fitting? |
Re: 35 Universal Joint Grease Cup Hole Peter,
What you have will work just fine. |
Re: 35 Universal Joint Grease Cup Hole 6 Attachment(s)
DavidG is correct. I added a grease fitting for that 11 o,clock hole so I could grease the universal from inside the car. Probably overkill as universal joint isn't greased that often.

Re: 35 Universal Joint Grease Cup Hole most of us use a air powered grease gun to do the job you are talking about. if you use a "mixture" of 1/2 synthetic grease and 1/2 synthetic 85/140 doping, mix this together and use the grease gun to pump it into the universal joint housing--the whole tube
