water pump impeller 1 Attachment(s)
Before everyone starts on yes or no about a water pump.
I’m looking for a new impeller casting to repair my water pump as per the photo. Can someone help me in the right direction or otherwise a good drawing of one please. Thank you in advanced Skippy |
Re: water pump impeller That "circulator" appears to be one of the most common designs - Blackhawk was a common model. No new impeller castings are available that I know of but I have a number of those & some pieces - need to know the shaft size - 1/2" most common but have seen 5/8" also.

Re: water pump impeller A modern machine shop can fab one for you. Or maybe 3D printing.

Re: water pump impeller I went through this when I first bought my T. It came with two water pumps, both different brands and both needed parts to work. It made more sense for me to buy a new one from Snyders and be done with it. About $200 but well made, and I've never regretted the purchase. I could never wrap my head around the thermosiphoning idea because I live in the foothills and I have seen too many engines damaged by overheating. Better safe than sorry IMHO. My two cents.

I couldn't believe how fast the water was circulating! I knew hot water rises but didn't think it could be that fast! |
Re: water pump impeller Thanks for your reply could you take a photo of the 1/2 shaft impeller with some sizes if possible. I live in the UK so parts are very hard to come buy and the see one.
