28-29 Roadster Top Iron Corner Material

I can't seem to find any replacement tack strip material to go inside the 28-29 top irons. Does anyone have any suggestions for replacement material? Nobody seems to sell this stuff

Thanks for the tip. I hadn't thought about leather belts but have considered the other two ideas.
