In search of old footage Ford assembly line footage and history

Looking for footage of Model A assembly line and other early Ford history.
I see many YouTube sites of the old Rouge plant but not the one I’m looking for.
As I remember it showed Henry’s early days, the early assembly line, the A going on initial sales display, scraps with unions and Henry’s dead body on respectful display. It was with good accompanying commentary.
Can any reader help me please?

I think you are looking for the “Biography Channel” documentary. You can find it on YouTube it’s 44 minutes long. Henry Ford Creator of First American Car | Full Documentary | Biography

Thankyou Incogneto. I didn't find the exact same program I had in mind but I did find so many I'd never conclude them in a normal life time let alone my remaining lifetime.
Thankyou for your help. Kind regards, gary

Most of those old Ford videos that you see on YouTube originated from the raw movies downloaded from the US National Archives free online library.

Here is the link to one of those Ford assembly line raw videos, for example: https://catalog.archives.gov/id/91152

Using the above link, you can just type in your topic of search into the search block and you will get a list of all of the material that is available (for free) through he National Archives records. They have a humongous collection of historical information, photos, documents and videos, etc, etc. from the Ford Motor Company.

So in your case, just type in "Ford Motor Company Assembly Line" in the search engine. Then when the results are displayed, click on "Videos" on the menu bar (located about 1/4 of the way down the page from the top). That will then show just the videos that are available. You can further refine your search by adding things like a specific year ("Ford Motor Company Assembly Line 1928" for example).

You can then download the videos (for free) to your computer if you wish to save them and edit them (though the files are often quite large) or add your own background music, etc.......and even then add them to your own YouTube Chanel video collection.

A word of CAUTION is in order however: Such research can be quite addictive and time consuming!! ;)

As a suggestion, you may want to find the Loren Sorensen series of VHS tapes of actual footage of assembly line at the Rouge. Some archive photos show pictures from those movies. These movies made by Ford show some T assembly a lot of A assembly including engine, chasis, sheet metal stamping, etc. I find all this astounding as to how they did this. Dale.
