Re: which jet equipment in a weber dgv On this forum, most folks are still running Zenith types. A Tilotson or two maybe. You might check on the HAMB. There are a fair amount of 4-Banger performance guys on there.

Re: which jet equipment in a weber dgv I've ran weber carburetors for many years (25yrs), straight out of the box. Never fooled with the jets. Great mileage (25+ mpg) and better performance.

Re: which jet equipment in a weber dgv Rik, My 32/36 DGV has a primary main of 155, the secondary is 165; the primary air is 170, the secondary is 180; and the primary idle is 50, the secondary is 70. My roadster seems happy with these. The engine is .080 over; has a "touring cam" from previous owner (I have no information); a 6 to 1 head; electronic ignition; and a 4 into 1 header, with 2.5" piping through a 30" glass pack out the back.

Re: which jet equipment in a weber dgv Hi russcochiolo, thank you for detailed info. I am doing handicrafts here in Germany, far from Stromberg and holley. So for a carefree life the only solution is to order a cheap and new weber from the UK for about USD 330,- included cable choke. Manifold 4 in 1 and 1 in 2 downdraft I make myself. The new carbs you can order with different jet settings. Thanks to your help I can choose the jet setting nearest the functionality. My engine is ,060 over with new B cam from snyders. Pistons, valves, cam gearing, crank insert bearings, oil pump, modern rods everything is new. Rear axle and gearbox overhaul. New juice brake kit all round. All the work I do myself, except process the engineparts. At this car everything is ruined. It was a race car in uruguay in the 1940 up to 1970. The engine block, I think that it was a broken rod that had blown away a 4 x 8 inch piece, which is soldered and welded back in place. In the past, people could do that. Clutch I prepared with the lathe to half weight. Clutch disk and pressure plate from V 8. Steering box from Land Rover LHD. Shocks from MGB. I am trained car mechanic but I have never seen a car so much destroyed like this vehicle.
