Nice photo! Appears to be an early front axle with one piece spindles. The intake is dog legged aluminum type that went away at the same time as open valve engines in mid 1911 model year. So my guess is the engine is also similar in vintage to the front axle, which would be no newer than early 1911 model year.

The wooden firewall is no earlier than 1915. The body appears to be 1912 - ish. And of course some kind of wire wheels. It's a mixture of parts, probably sourced from a town dump in the era when a used up Model T had no value.

Looks like it has a dealer tag, though. Not that it isn't as Royce described. Maybe a trade in of some sort???

Cool car!

No coils, so it's probably running a mag.

48 stars on the flag.

Plate says 1917 dealer but I can't make out the place.

Is that an accessory hi-comp head? Edges look straight rather than curved.

Plate appears to be 1917 Pennsylvania dealer plate.

Negative is dated in the margin, a little hard to read, but since y'all have nailed the plate year, the photo was taken June 3,1917
