temp guages sending units...

So I have a '37. Replacing engine with a '46 with Edelbrock heads. The car is still 6 volt. I do not believe the sending unit from 37 fits in the Edelbrock heads.
The Edlebrock heads have the 1 and 2 wire sending units which I believe are a pipe thread? (Different than the thread on '37 heads?)
So the question is what to do to monitor temperature. hidden gauges under the dash? 6 Volt gauges? Or mechanical gauges? Any recommendations on what brand...?

Thanks for any input.

Thanks, that part # may help. I have not had much luck finding it without part #.

if youve got both bits any shop that does hydraulics [hoses and fittings] should be able to supply or make you an adapter to suit
