Color question - light winterleaf or not? 1 Attachment(s)
Good day / evening all.
I am sending my 1932 Geelong (Australia) built Phaeton out to paint this week and need to provide the painter a PPG code. The color I have in mind is the same as the color attached - which is a recent South American build. I have had a good look at the 1932 color range and the Light Winterleaf Beige seems much darker than the car pictured? Does anybody have a guestimate as to what the color pictured may be? Thanks in advance Adam |

The phaeton in your photos is a pretty good match for the original '32 color, Winterleaf brown-light, but a tad on the bland side. The moldings should be painted Winterleaf brown-dark as original to make a fair comparison of the total effect. Attached are photos of two examples I have which have a bit more life to the light color as did the original. Recognizing of course that the variables that affect the appearance of colors in photos are almost endless.

Re: Color question - light winterleaf or not? Dont know if this helps but here is a thread about '32 colors. I believe it mentions a light and a dark winterleaf.
