How do you like this "created" 1960 Edsel Villager Two Door Wagon - nice. |
Re: Two-Door Ford and Mercury Wagons Must have used a '60 Ford Ranch Wagon to start with I would imagine, since I don't think Edsel made a 2 door wagon except for 1958 only. Looks nice !

Re: Two-Door Ford and Mercury Wagons I really like that Edsel and by how it looks I would have never thought it was "created".

Neat 1954 Ford Customline Ranch Wagon. |
Re: Two-Door Ford and Mercury Wagons I believe 1954 was the first year they offered a Mainline and Customline version of the Ranch Wagon. '52 and '53 were Mainline versions only (in the US).

Re: Two-Door Ford and Mercury Wagons I had a '60 2 door wagon in the late 60's but don't remember it called a Courier. Was there a 2 door ranch wagon?

https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/attac...p;d=1534392011 fordor41, the 1960 Ford Ranch Wagon was available, as well as the 1960 Ford Courier. Both had windows, which make things confusing. See above pictures from the original sales literature. |

How do you like this made up 1955 Ford Fairlane Two Door Station Wagon. It has been made from a Two Door Ranch Wagon. Ford never applied this side trim to any of their Wagons in 1955. That is because the Country Squire was the Fairlane version of the Wagons, and substituted the Wood Grains sides, instead of Chrome Strips. |

This time we have a 1959 Ford Ranch Wagon. Someone has added the "washboard" treatment behind the rear wheels. This trim was never fitted to the Wagons in 1959. |
