Aligning hood

Still struggling with aligning the hood on a 1929 Tudor. Does anyone have the dimensions of the mounting holes to the top of the shell. I have the feeling my shell sits too high.
Speeking of that ... who sells nickle shells not giving aligning trouble ? I bought mine from Sacramento and is junk. Nothing fits.

Re: Aligning hood

I think all of the reproduction radiator shells are foreign made chrome ones. I also believe they are off in the specs a bit too because I have trouble when I tried to crank my engine to get the crank lined up in the bearing.

I had the same problem with my sept 29 strip down . I do like to hand crank , sometimes . Maybe when the weather cools off I'll try again to shim the radiator for better hand crank clearance
