Shock ID 1 Attachment(s)
I have these in my pile, they don't fit my 33 or 34,would any one know what they fit.
Thanks Lawrie |
Re: Shock ID Lawrie, it might help to see some side views, and mounting end views, know the length of the arms and their part numbers, the diameter of the shock body, plus knowing the center to center distance between the mounting holes would all be good info to help ID these.

Re: Shock ID If the body's are 3 1/4" Diameter they 1947 / 48
|
Re: Shock ID The earlier style is slightly smaller in diameter. I believe Ford went to the larger diameter shock body in 41. If the arms have the number 10 embossed or stamped into the arm at the small reinforcement they are 1940 fronts. The screw on caps on the main body were changed in 38-39 for the spring loaded seal (what you have).

Re: Shock ID Smaller body = 2 7/8" diameter
