Was the !934 Roadster body used for three window

Would anyone know if the 1934 Ford three window body was built from the 34 roadster shell? Were running a converted roadster at Bonneville next month which has a lot of racing history previously owned by CW Scott of the famous Scottys muffler service in San Bernadine California. CW ran the car as a coupe and eventually converted it into the roadster. Coupes converted into roadsters was common in land speed racing a long time ago this is one of those converted cars.

The cowl and doors are really quite different as was the dashboard. Only the tops of the quarters and metal between trunk and cockpit would be close. So it would be quite a bit of work to make a coupe into a correct roadster.

The door width is much greater on the 3-window coupe, which in turn means that the quarter panels were shorter. In other words, unique stampings for just about everything except for the deck lid.

I know a guy that found a '36 roadster half buried in a dry creek bed in Eastern Idaho. The lower portion of the body was mostly rusted away. The man cut the body just below the belt-line, the man secured a coupe body, cut it at the belt-line and married the two sections together.

I sold the man a complete rumble seat for a '36 that I had been holding onto to for over thirty years. The car turned out very nice.

The difference for the body of concern from what i find is the size of the area for the driver. So the one dimension Im now interested in is the length from the front edge of the deck lid measured in the center to the body reveal along the rear top of the body. If someone has an original Ford roadster body that dimension would help. I know that rear cowl area is now a different length between the three window and roadster I suspect the roadster is a longer dimension. Once i know the size adding a strip of metal to the inner edge of the body will solve the problem.
