'57 Ranchero wiper control cable

Trying to remove the cable assembly from the dash. Not having any luck.

Knob is held on with a set screw, pull it off and use the "tool" vendors carry or a sturdy needle nose plier to turn the ferrel.

Haven't had any luck turning the ferrel. Assuming counter-clockwise?

You need the bezel wrench. CGS Ford and other places have them for about $10. I ordered mine with the electric wiper from Newport.

I got the Newport on my '59, worked out quite well.
