Hey Folks --

Just a follow up from the Hilton Head Concours. Steve Cook and his friend Marshall were able to get his '38 coupe sorted out, and we both were able to participate in the driving tour and concours. Looking at the pics below, you can definitely see a family resemblance!

The day before the concours, which has 100-point judging, one of my original headlight bulbs decided to give up the ghost. I had a spare of everything else but bulbs, and NAPA didn't have any. To make a long story short, Steve gave me one of his, which ultimately made the difference against some very tough competition. Many thanks Steve -- send me a p/m with your address so I can get the replacement to you.

PS -- Check out the pic of my Zephyr on the link below, and note what the photographer says about the engine. That's the way it's supposed to be ;)

I had a great time and don't feel the headlight deduction effected my point grading or the position in my class, I believe our class to be one of the toughest on the field that day. I believe there were 9 cars in our class one car receives the best in class and there are 2 palmetto awards for that class I tell everyone that asked how I did that I came in ninth in my class.:o

I am glad that I was able to help with the headlight bulb I would not have been able to attend without your words of encouragement or my good friend Marshall's help.

Hopefully I can attend another in the future there were so many great people and cars I would recommend attending if you get the oppertunity.
