Want to build bed for 1950 F1
 

I have a 50 F1 with no bed at all...I have a chance to get some parts for a 51 bed....in other words, will a 51 bed work on a 1950 model truck....

The 51-52 smooth side f1 bed actually came out in late 50 and can be found on some 1950s trucks. So yes it will fit just fine. The rear fenders are different for the smooth bed sides versus the earlier ones.

The flange edge of the fender that mounts to the bed is indented to allow for the raised panels on the earlier style bed sides.
