A few days ago someone wanted the the part no. for points for 37-48 flathea (Standard FD6770) and (Blue Streak FD75X) I think both of the come with 2 sets in a box. Walt

right as i got the part number i went across the street to the store that is a standard dealer. they had one set in stock. made in usa. to my knowledge standard and echlin are one. they look the same.I have only had good luck with echlin and thought i would try a set from standard. wanna have some fun. try running a set that sac vintage ford sells. haha

I ordered 4 sets of points from napaonline, It's been two weeks and nothing yet.
just called them and I should have them next tues. or wed. Not fast service.....Bob

I was talking to Skip this morning and he said he uses Standard brand on the distributors he rebuilds. He said he has never had a set of them that didn't come right in on the dwell settings. We have seen distributors that another person has done and were sent to him and they were no were near being on the dwell settings and they wouldn't come in, the points had to be changed to set these distributors. As I said many times you can't set these distributors like the factory without a machine. When set on a Ford stobe machine there is no guessing, they work every time. G.M.
