31 Victoria patch panels I hope to be looking at a 31 Victoria in a week or so. It has the usual bubbling of the paint on the bottom of the cowl panels. I've been to a number of vendor's web sites, but I'm a little confused regarding the correct metal cowl patch panels for a Victoria. Also I would appreciate any input on quality. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Smitty

Re: 31 Victoria patch panels Most vendors carry the correct contoured patches. They have to be shortened to fit a slant
If you are going to install you should be able to modify |
Re: 31 Victoria patch panels Stipe manufacturing had panels that were great to use (had to be cut for use with the Victoria as mentioned) but I don't see them on the site now. I have an extra set.

Re: 31 Victoria patch panels 2 Attachment(s)
The cowl patch panels used on my 190A were custom made to fit. Although the patch panels were made to fit the whole width of the cowl, only a small segment of the panels was used to keep as much of the original cowl metal as possible.
