Good morning Ford friends! 1 Attachment(s)
Question,
how come when you first start a thread you can add photos? but after that the option seems to go away? |
Re: Good morning Ford friends! If you reply, and choose “Go advanced” then you should have another chance to add pics.

Re: Good morning Ford friends! A lot of times, the photos are too big and the forum won't accept them. It's "hit or miss" thing. I have found the easiest way to make them fit is to load them up in Microsoft "PAINT" (or "PAINT-3D" for you Windows-10 users) and then save them. Make sure you chose ".jpg" as your file type. After I've done that with photos that won't load, I've been able to get 'em in.
Sorry, no help for you "APPLE" types. |
Re: Good morning Ford friends! A little tip on photo size, if you use gmail and take pictures with your phone, an smaller version is saved in the cloud in "Photos". The software that runs the Barn is getting pretty old, more modern versions of it automatically "resize" photos.

Re: Good morning Ford friends! Posting photos from a phone on this site is a PITA.
|
Re: Good morning Ford friends! Following up to what tubman said,
I find resizing photos to 35% using PAINT works fine. |
Re: Good morning Ford friends! I put 'em in paint and resize to about 800 pixels wide. Normally works and displays well on the screen.
You out and about driving it already? Mart. |

If it is desired to reduce the size of photos export them at a lower resolution. Go to the command line and click “File” and then from the drop down menu “Export”. The prompts will explain how to export the photos at full size or less than full size to someplace like the desktop. Charlie Stephens |
Re: Good morning Ford friends! I can post pics on the Hamb ,no problem When I try here ,,Same photo ,,it the luck of the draw .most of the times it a no go

Re: Good morning Ford friends! That's probably one of the reasons the H.A.M.B. went through the painful process of changing their "Bulletin Board" software a couple of years ago.
|
Re: Good morning Ford friends! I found using a lower resolution on my camera makes the pics upload no problem.
