Model A Garage In New England ?

Group,

I have to increase my range for shops that service Model A's from the Cape Cod area out to New England.

Any experience favorable with repair shops in New England ? I'm looking for head gasket repair\brakes\king pin repair.

Update :

I have the Model A in a garage in Hyannis Massachusetts. The name is Vintage Auto and the Head is now off. When the engine is back together, I'll report on the results.

Update:

New Gasket installed O.K. The old gasket had a blow-out between 3 and 4 cylinders.
Car runs good after I fixed the timing (garage tried to help, but had it too retarded).

I'll re-torque the head next.

Re-Torqued the Head bolts today to 55 foot-pounds. I was surprised how much some had to be turned...1\4 to 3\8.

Car runs well and no leaks so far.

By the way, why is the space between the cylinder heads so small on the head gasket ?

They make the gasket to fit engines that have been bored .125" over. A correct wider gasket for the stock or up to .060" over might hit the pistons on a .125" overbore.
