Hot Rod Works

I must have been sleeping. I just went to their website and they have the business for sale or it has sold and they are retiring. It will be a great loss to the early Ford community. It's a shame to see one of the best in the business hanging to up. Just saw them at the LARS. Hopefully someone with their expertise will pick up the torch and continue?

They were great guys to deal with. I have their plug in axle conversion in my roadster. They gave much technical support to me during the build.

Re: Hot Rod Works

Back in the '90s, I had Wayne Atkinson modify my '40 rear end for late 28 spline axles, along with his open drive conversion, to be used on my '32. Some time after, his business became Hot Rod Works. I don't remember all the details, but two brothers iirc became then new owners, continuing Wayne's very high quality work and products. I hope their excellent company will stay in business under new ownership.
