46-48 style rebuildable coil

Sorry, I know I'm supposed to list this on the Swap Meet, which I am, but posting it here as well for more coverage. I need a rebuildable 1946-1948 style ignition coil to keep as a spare. It will be on Apatchy, a driver, so does not need to be show quality. Just decent looking, and rebuildable. Thanks. Let me know quickly 'cause I'm getting old FAST. LOL

Lawson I too gettin too old and too fast so I stuck a 6vt Napa coil in there and call it a day.
Weird things happen after 70 yrs old. Like how you start the car and the original coil
blows the top off huh??????? Napa here we come!!

You have options already, but Lawson I have one (think both brown and black coils). Send a pm and I'll double check. Just pay the ride, I'll ship it straight to skip.

Lawson, I was thinking about sending you a coil and a $50.00 bill so you could buy a 5th on the 6th to celebrate next years 4th of July, but the other guys beat me to the punch. ;) ;) :D :D

Yeah John, I appreciate the offer, but I appreciate the humor more. Yeah, I've got it covered now.

Jim. That's Fantastic. I'll be on the look out. I will call you in a day or two and pick your brain on whether or not there's a way you can test a coil to determine if it is going to break down when it gets hot. Good U-Tube video on checking out coils, but no mention about how to test for one that is liable to break down when it gets hot.
