6 V Bull/Fog Horn Info Needed

Picked up a cable operated Bull/Fog horn and would like to gather any information out there about original manufacturer, instructions, pictures of cable control device, original decals etc. Original color appears to be a lighter (faded?) green. Have found no markings stamped into metal. Cable clamp on side under actuation lever and three nuts appear to hold cover on.
Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge.

I’m pretty sure they’re just an after market horn. Mine is red. I have it mounted on the left side of the engine on a bracket. I put a pulley that fastens onto my steering column down low, and the cable then runs up the steering column and is fastened underneath the dash so I just reach up and pull on the cable. Believe it or not, I have actually had a herd of cows run up to me, enticed by the sound of my bull horn.

The lever on the horn is the on/off/moo switch. The power feed line, is just that only, no horn button. Most of the ones I have seen are an orange/red. Mine was repainted black and has a different bell attached.

I have two that I've picked up at flea markets that are red with some kind of small decal partially still on. I've never known for sure if they are 6 or 12 volt. got one on my golf cart and it seems to work fairly well on 12 volts.

I would like to find a couple of control levers for those horns.they have a long lever, but moves the arm on the horn slowly so you can modulate it.A cable control from a lawnmower doesn't work well at all.I have a neighbor that lives about 600 feet from me,and she works from home.I blew that horn one day showing it to somebody, and the guy in Detroit she was working with on the computer asked her when she got cows.I think I have a half dozen of these, but only one control.

A very good chance the red ones were made by Jubilee and made them both fog and bull. They also made the wolf whistle and a number of accessories . They are really neat horns

Most had a area on the horn to clamp the cable housing, but what type of fitting is used to attach the cable to the modulating lever?

The 6 volt model was all red with an oval yellow label - labeled Jubilee #90 and with a bull shown on it - on the front rounded top. - it was also sold as a fog horn.I bought mine new from JC Whitney back in the 1970's and I still have it on my coupe. Not sure who made it but they were located in Omaha Neb as I remember.. They came with the lever/cable assembly which you attached to the horn lever arm to actuate and the power wire went to the terminal box. I see them on eBay and swap meets once in awhile. There was also a 12 volt model. Hope this helps
