Tudor assist strap and window shade

I have a late 90's Lebarron Bonney interior that includes assist straps. I never got around to installing them, and I'd like to put them in. Maybe.

On the assist straps, what's the proper height on the piillar? The versions I was given have some fairly lightweight looking mounting plates/medallions, mounted with only 2 #8 screws. Do these really take the weight of someone leaning on them, or are they purely decorative?

On the window shade, what is the proper height in a Tudor? Does the wood run vertical the whole way up on each side of the rear window? I obviously should know as I put the interior in but that was 20 years ago, and before I had a digital camera to archive all that useful stuff.

Does anyone have a photo of the wood there?

Is yours a 28-29 or a 30-31 Tudor?

My February 1929 Tudor does not have the assist straps unless they added them later.
