manilla brown

i picked up a few back issues of "the restorer" and noticed the "matching model A paint colors" . wondering if anyone has one with a "manilla brown" write up, i'll be looking for that issue. what ever volume, issue, month and year it may be.
i see the formulas are pretty much spelled, i'd like to learn more.
i plan to paint this cowl within the year.
also how much paint should be purchased . two or three coats ?
as well as anyones input on todays paints and the latest regulations.
i hear only this or that is available to purchase and release into the california atmosphere.

appreciated.

WWW.TCPglobal.com has the original chips. I have Manila Brown acrylic urethane mixed by them for my 150B and the color matches in sunlight the color chip as published in the MAFCA paint book. Gar Williams
