Pet Peeve no 5: Some son of a gun will leave my drivers door swinging open after looking at the car when it's parked and I'm eating lunch. Pet Peeve no 6. Same as above except its the Motometer which is screwed down hard. But they try to take it bend it. I'll stop...... |
Re: What is your collector car Pet Peeve? I'm with Tom W. and the others who don't mind if asked. Asking the cost is one of the "Buying signs" that indicate interest. The person is interested and is curious about the costs. Whether or not they follow through pretty much depends on a lot of subsequent factors. But at that moment, he likes what he sees and he's wondering. I never saw the presumed "rudeness" of asking the cost of something. What do you want, for me to remain in the dark and stupid?
