These are the rear wheels ill be running, a company out of cali. I sent my wide 5 3.5" wheels and they made them 6" i believe the outer rim is from a dodge caravan. Ill have to find my recipe later and ill edit this post for the company name

I did a ton of test fitting to make sure they would fit, and now im confident they will.

One of the thing I'm struggling with is tire size, i want to run the same size front and rear mainly bc i will already have a rake in the suspension ( i lowered the front a little more than the rear) and i love to rotate my tires. so im thinking about a 6.5x16 or a 7.00x16

You're doing a really nice job on this truck - much appreciate you taking the time to post what you're doing and the progress along the way! Get it "done" and on the road!

Those tire sizes pretty much scream Bias Ply. And that's just fine as they have 'the look'. I'm partial to 7.50x16 on the rear, and front too if they clear. specially since you widened the wheels. Me, I have switched over to radials and run 215 85r 16. Tall, skinny and cheap at the used tire places.

You’re doing a heck of job on that truck!……I have all the parts for a ‘37 as my “on-deck “ project…….I don’t think there’s two pieces that came from the same vehicle….yours is gonna be a nice looking ride……..Mark

I found this cool gauge from a 39 transit bus, Iron trap garage was selling it. I personally have never seen one, and from the researched i did do about it, its a rare item for sure! I thought it would be perfect in my truck seeing how i am running electric temp sensors. I sent it off to redline gauge and clock repair to have it restored, while it was out i ran across this NOS Waltham 39 ford Speedometer and of course when i test fitted it i cracked the glass.... just my luck.. but non the less i did get the both gauges test fitted
