Charlie, thanks for the input. I like the 1075 intake better due to the centered carbs, but since I have an earlier block with a different breather setup, I didn't think this was an option for me. Also, aren't the carb mounts tilted slightly on this intake to account for later canted engine mount?

Yes on both questions. I see that the Speedway fan pulley is discontinued.

Yes, to your question on those pulleys lining up.
In my mind, the beauty of using a stock generator on the setup you have, as either a generator or converted to Whitney style alternator, is that all of the single belt pulleys will line up, plus the front bearing system will safely withstand the load of a pulley with fan mounted. I know there are those saying they have mounted a pulley with fan on a regular alternator, or on a powergen with success, but I also know of some of these setups that have failed, and some failed unsafely.
