- I've been piddlin' with these old Fords since junior hi-school, even before I got my first '39 DeLuxe that same Friday we lost JFK in '63. It's gotten to the point now that my knees hurt too much to get down and work on the cars we still have. Still own a really nice original, un-restored '37 DeLuxe coupe, a '40 Deluxe coupe (a former ISCA show-car) that has a little 365 HP Corvette engine w/Tremek TKO 600 5-speed, as well as a '65 Corvette coupe, one of only 227 built w/365 HP as well as A/C, along with nine other options. I've owned the Vette for 35 years now.
