- My first car was a 1930 Model A Ford while I was in high school (1962). I was hooked on old cars, especially the Fords. My interest in the mechanics of old cars lead me to get a degree in engineering from UCLA. Unfortunately, I spent my career in the aerospace industry and never used it in the area of cars.
