- From south Louisiana area, near Baton Rouge. Grew up on Fords because that's what the family drove. Dad had a '51 F1 with the Flathead 6 when i was a little kid. Best memories were riding in that old truck with him. Dreamed for years of having a 54-56 F-100. In 2017 I found the right '53 with a good condition 53 8BA engine it. Took over a year of wrenching to get it on the road but I did it. Totally love the old truck and cruising in it.
