- Have a 41 FORD Super Deluxe Club Coupe that is returned to its late 40's souped up spec. The color is the rare, original Florentine Blue, a 1941 FORD spring / Easter offer. After some research and tracking of the cars history, I was able to confirm that this car belonged to my Grandpa from 1941 - 49 - I purchased this 41 in May 2012 and began returning the Coupe to the spec my Grandpa outfitted the old girl in after the war. She is an example of a time that was very unique and in many ways extraordinary. I just think the car is my idea of the perfect car with a great personal history. My entire family worked at FORD Motor company and owned FORDs from the T on to present times. A few of its original soup up parts include Hexagon twin Stromberg 97 set-up, Zephyr gearbox, original Appleton 141 spot, Autolamp fog lamps, and fender skirts and dual exhaust with Buick exhaust deflectors.
