Before & After

I love before and after shots… They are tangible evidence of dedication, hard work, passion, and everything else it takes to restore an old Ford. If a single picture is worth a thousand words, how many words is two worth?

A clean ’34 Roadster

I was tooling around the user galleries this morning and ran into “34s4ever’s” ’34 roadster. When you get right down to it, it’s hard to argue against the ’33/’34 Ford as the prettiest roadster Ford ever produced. They are just so damned clean and purposeful in appearance. Even at stock height, they look very athletic.

In any case, enjoy the gallery here.

37/38 Ford Cabriolets

I think I’m one of the very few… See, I have a passion for 1938 Fords. It started with the first and only hot rod I ever built (and still own) myself – a ’38 deluxe coupe. I built it as I was inspired by all of the old circle track cars that were trashed in the early days. The neglected tone of the ’38 just sang to me and eventually, the lines of the ’38 began to grow on me as well. They aren’t ugly ducklings.
