I would like to get some suggestions on what master cylinder arrangement would work well for my Hot Rod. I need to get a under floor mount with a smaller booster on the cylinder. I need a double master because I have disc front (mustang II) and drum rear (mustang II) both 74 models. Does anyone have a suggestion on what I could use? Thanks <table><tr><td><font face="arial"> |

Hi Larry You might get more info on this if you post at the early V8 site. I know the early Fords had the MC under the floorboards. I saw a number of advertisers in StreetRodder magazine - Bob <table><tr><td><font face="arial"> |

you dont need a double. you can run with a residual pressure valve in the rear line to hold the min pressure to the rears. omit the residual valve in the inside of the master cylinder. add an adjustable proportional valve between the front and rear lines. i did this on a 39 tudor and it worked great. no power booster needed with an early mustang fruitjar master cylinder. you could also use the same plumbing with the original ford underfloor pedal/cylinder assembly. if you are really set on the double cylinder with power, contact speedway who sells what you want. 402-323-3200 <table><tr><td><font face="arial"> |
