Default 1930 model a

i have what is supposed to be a 1930 model a. however the doors have vent windows. this is supposed to be a standard 5 window coupe. where could these doors have come from? they aren't flush either with the body. they overlap.

This is way out of my field but GM sounds familiar. Are there any body tags? Is there a serial number on the engine? Best yet as Doug said a photo. Set your camera at the lowest resolution and posting is easy at this site.

Do you have actual "VENT" windows, or are they the add-on air deflectors?

My 28 and 29 door skin overlaps the body skin, and I'm sure your 30 Coupe would also.

Probably wind wings. I've seen lots of them added to closed cars as an accessory.

Looks like a 1930 Model A 5 Window Coupe to me with 16 " wheels .
The vent windows are some add ons
Lots of things happen to some of these cars after 80+ years .
I guess you could take them off pretty easy .

Looks like a Model A to me. The "vent windows" are an aftermarket add-ons as has been said above. The doors are suppose to overlap the body, also as has been said above. The wheels/tires are not correct for that year, but they would fit in with a lot of Model A's that are being driven today.

BTW, Nice looking coupe! And welcome to the Ford Barn. Where are you located?

The vent windows from a 55-57 Chevy can be easily adapted to the Model A. Most likely what you have. The original window regulator handle will be relocated with this installation. I have a pair of good 31 Coupe doors I will trade with you if you don't like the vent windows.
