Driving at night
With the hot weather we've been enjoying this week, I decided to drive my '28 roadster to the monthly San Diego MARC/MAFCA meeting. The drive home, with the headlights on, the little dash light on, the top down, was great. You can smell things you never will in your modern, passing shops & restaurants. I now know why dogs love to hang their heads out of windows.

Re: Driving at night
I agree with driving along the country road, car top down singing a song, head lamps keeping things just bright enough at fifty mph or so.
Somehow I feel better having the dash lamp on, too. |
