Default Wiring for Generator

Does anyone have any photo's they can send me on the correct wiring of the Generator on a 6 volt system, my wires are not colour coded so and I don't think it was wired properly. Please share if possible for 1930 Model A. 2 wires were connected to the front towards the rad of the cut out switch not to the back.

There is only one wire going to the generator and it runs up to the terminal box on the firewall. The other terminal on the firewall box runs down to the starter switch.

If you mean the wires inside the generator, then the power brush runs to the output terminal, and the adjustable brush is connected to the field windings. The brush located 180* from the output brush is the ground brush and just has a short wire to the case end plate.

If that is the case, then you can just ground one of the wires under the cutout mounting screw. Just make sure it's the right wire.

Wouldn't there be two wires from the generator? One to the terminal box
and one to the light switch.

Actually there would be three wires. The charging circuit wire leading to the terminal box and the horn and healight wires, usually joined to one terminal, but repro wiring may vary.
