Default July's Road Trip

I'm excited about Old Henry's next road trip in July to Mount Rushmore, Devil's Tower, and Bear Tooth All American Road in Montana. Of course we'll end up having to drive through Yellowstone and Teton National Park on the way home (yawn ). Total 1,662 miles in 4-5 days. Here's the trip: https://goo.gl/maps/hFpXz

If you have the chance check out the Crazy Horse memorial near Mt. Rushmore. Well worth the time. IMO.

I love your travelogues. It reminds me of the one from the 40's you see on Turner Classic movies as fillers. We get to see areas that some of us may never see in person. You are a very lucky person to be able to do this! Keep posting those pics, love them!!

As you can tell, we are excited about your trip, too. I guess the next best thing to going on your own trip is hearing about someone else's.

I am taking my first extended trip in one of my Model A's to the MARC meet in Canada. I can't wait.

Henry we were in rapid city a few years back when our 92 Lincoln had a alto nator bearing go bad,a very nice old car nut helped us out Carl was his name and he had 57 hot rods, also his father was the instigator of the Sturgis motorcycle gathering ,they had the largest Indian dealership in the world then
Make sure you also look in the dinosaur museum up in hill city.
And I second the crazy horse memorial.
Take care and have fun.

Yup. We never go to Rushmore without also going to Crazy Horse.
