Default When It's Springtime in the Rockies

Drove around the corner to my neighbor's to drop something off on the way to the office. After delivering it I turned around to return to my car in his driveway and saw this and had to share. Especially on the first day of spring.

His tree is a flowering plum and that's Mt. Timpanogos above us.

Very beautiful photo, moutains in the background sets the tree off really well. BTW, we are still waiting for thet type of scene in western Kentucky. Enjoy

Very pretty view. We're going to get 3-5 inches of snow again on the first day of spring!

Don't plant your garden yet, Craig. We can still get nailed. Beautiful shot, by the way. Wayno

Too late. Garden is already in . . . at least the flower garden.

But, of course, they're pansies that were put in last fall and survive over the winter, except the ones the deer plucked up and ate. Still plenty to add a splash of color in the early spring.

I've been meaning to ask what the sign is on your car? Maybe I missed it in another thread?

I put them on for my trip to Mexico last month and told about them on that thread here https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=162633, post # 37.

On that trip I wanted to share something more than just about the car when all of the people came up to talk to me about the car everywhere I stopped. So, I made these magnetic signs for the front doors. They are my favorite picture of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir with me singing in it (4th down from the top on the right edge). It was a nice lead in to talk to them about the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ and another testament of Jesus Christ - the Book of Mormon. Some were interested in a CD of the choir which I had on hand to give them and some were interested in a Book of Mormon that I also gave them if they wanted it. It made the trip all the more meaningful.

Beautiful shot of old Henry and the flowering tree. Just for a little contrast here is old Merc sitting on a semi dry patch of ground amid mud and melting snow. As of today the ground is turning white again but at the least I got the Merc into shelter to work on.
