Default Tuning Questions

What's the minimum clearance from the top of the head to the top of the piston for a 59 ab?

If I were to put in a mild cam (like a Schneider from Red's) is there enough advance on a stock 59 distributor or is some modification necessary?

Thanks for any advice

.035" would be my minimum. The distributor will be fine.

Piston to head clearance is determined by piston weight ans engine RPM.or rod streach. Avery light piston on an H beam rod?? However we use .050" for the stock style 4 ring piston. Same with the valves.
