Replacing exterior handles, 1935 Fordor
I bought some replacement handles, but forgot the trick to align the internals to get the square rod to slip in. Any suggestions, please?
Thanks, RB |

The fixed square on the latch requires you to notch out the bar on the handle.
Just grind off the square corners 1 1/8 from the end of the shaft and 1 5/8. |
