Default radius ball grease fitting

anybody ever put a grease fitting on radius ball cap and what is drill and tap size or is it a bad idea

if your set up is stock Model A, then enough oil should leak out the transmission and engine to keep the ball oiled. Its designed for that. But if you have the transmission shift rails end plugged with that accessory from Mitchells, a sealed front bearing on the transmission main shaft and the engine doesn't leak a drop, or if you have the V8 conversion to hold the radius ball, then a means to lube it is a good idea.
