Default 1942 ford truck heater location

i have 1942 Canadian ford pick up truck looking for information on location of hot water heater to fire diagrams and also can't find Serial Number on frame for truck Thanks Ted

My Canadian CMP had the vin on the right top frame rail. Right hand drive !! Newc
