The MARC meet was scheduled to be held in Niagara Falls in 2016. Now that the 2015 meet is moved to Niagara Falls, where will the 2016 meet be held - French Lick?

I went to the MARC meet in French Lick 4 years ago, I believe it was. Yes, it was a really nice venue. I plan to attend this year also. Niagara Falls in 2015, probably not - to far away from Minnesota, like San Diego was 3 years ago. The Midwest somewhere is the best for most people, I believe.

what is a French Lick

The 2010 MARC meet was held at the resort spa in French Lick, Indiana (very southern part of Indiana). The area is very senic and the facilities are gorgeous. I believe the original spa was build in the mid 1800's, but was left to deteriorate in the mid 1900's. Some deep pockets person or group bought the property and restored it to its original grandeur in the early 2000's. This is what I have heard and I could be misinformed. I have been to 4 MARC meets, and the facilities at French Lick are by far the nicest and classiest. As a note, the former NBA great Larry Byrd was from French Lick.

[tbirdtbird] Google, French Lick Resort, IN. It was a hot spot place for the rich and famous back in the day[20's -40's]. Mr. and Mrs. Cook [ deep pockets ] SUPER NICE old people had it restored .[ Cook Medical equip. & supply company ] . I booked months ago and sent in my registration this past week. We ate and drank at Larry Byrd's bar which is right up the street.[nothing fancy] but had a great time [it was the group of Model "A" people there].Funny is,, next year MARC meet will be where i'll be next month for the A.A.C.A. National meet. That's only a 7 hour drive compared to 16 hours to French Lick [if i remember right] l.o.l.

There are two large hotels there, one is in French Lick, the one you're referring to is in West Baden Springs, right next door to French Lick.

French Lick is a fantastic place, the venue the hotel, the layout, it is really a great time for everyone and there is a lot to do in the surrounding areas. I highly recommend if you were not there in 2010 that you go!
