Change out vac wipers to electric on '55 Ford

Anybody have an easy fix for figuring which wiper assembly will work? I don't plan on driving in the rain, but in Ohio you never know.

You could use RainX it works great. The wipers on my cpe are very small and I use RainX instead of wipers and I've been in some torrential downpours

I think Newport wipers makes a bolt in kit for your car

get the newport kit e-z bolt in once you get under the dash also get the intermittent switch and extension so you can use your old knob its worth the investment as long as your car is 12 volts i don't know if they make 6 volts

I've got Newport on my cpe and they work fine. It's because of the small wiper size that I find RainX to work better. I used to have a 74 Vette, you should've seen the rain fly off the windshield on that with RainX

Before I went to electric wipers in my 55 I used Rain X and it did work good but it wore off on the way home from Florida so it has working wipers now.
