What about the MUD GUARDS? I'm serious. I bought them and put them on and see no earthly use for the things except to spend more money on.

Every month that goes by that I don't hear from the kid I spend some more of what she would have gotten when I die. This month she got mud guards.

To whom it may concern: I'm sorry I thought this was a Model A Form not a English or Spelling class my bad. I don't know where spell check maybe on your fordbarn but it has always been in the upper right Corner of my (Quick Reply message box). Some times I need to use it but I have learned to spell alot of words that I haven't use in a long time.

Then why did you put them on? It is only an aftermarket accessory.

That is sad! Don't ket the good times slip away, even if you have to go see her.
Since this is not related to the original posting it should have been a new thread.

BTW, I do find the spell check in my upper right. And here I've always been using my dictionary.

You still need the program loaded on your computer to make it work, iespell.com

Shouldn't it be Spelling checker, and not some whitchcraft related confirmation deal?

Why don't I have one if everybody else does? I want one too and I haven't done anything wrong. How come they all get one and I don't? Is it because I drive a Fordor and not a coupe, roadster, or Hack? I'm as good as they are and so is my car. This sucks! This is also off the point of Ford Barn and Model A's. Everybody should be treated the same whether they have a spell checker or not. This is about old Fords not spelling. Who cares if a guy, bless his heart, can't spell or knows the exact right name to call a part as long as we get the idea. IMHO

There are a lot of us who can't spell and don't care. But really, some posts are very hard to understand when you spell words wrong. It would make it easier to read and help if we could tell exactly what you are trying to say.Spell check pops up on mine and I use it.
Now, if we could just learn when to use ..there or their ..and steal or steel, ..brake or brake, etc......

Please excuse my grammar....

I figured out where to find Spell Checker! Horay for the American way! I have to go to advanced and then right click. A box comes up with undo, paste, paste as plain text, and spell check option. I click on spell check and it goes to work. It never does show an icon on my toolbar however. I now feel as good as the rest of the boys even in my homemade shirt and bowl haircut!

What I find absolutely amazing about this thread is that I took the time, no actually wasted the time, to read every word written, spelled correctly or not.

Why does it really matter if the correct message is received or information given. We are fixing Model A's not being judged on our ability to spell all the words correctly ! If your brakes or breaks are howling or your engine or ingin is leaking oil there is no doubt what the person is saying. I say leave them alone because it ads to our ability just to be ourself without polish !
Just remember lots of english or grammar teachers could never fix a Model A like these guys can !
